Everyone loves flowers–it’s a fact of life! There’s something about blooms, their bright colors and unique shapes that draw the eye and bring happiness wherever they go. Here at You Do Flowers, we realize the power blooms can have and what they add to a home. The last thing we want is for anyone to feel like flowers are “out of reach” or that they have to pay buckets of money to get picture-perfect arrangements.

In a You Do Flowers class, you’re guaranteed to: learn about flowers including how to choose and condition flowers for arranging, tips and tricks of the trade to make arranging easier, and how to get the absolute most out of your budget and your bouquets. We will demonstrate how to make an arrangement, then we will set you loose to let your floral creative juices flow, and we will be there to back you up if you get stuck.

We will provide everything needed, from container to flowers and all the tools in between.  You take your arrangement home with you, and if you want to purchase the supplies you used in your class, the new You Do Flowers Tool Kit will be available for purchase at the class!

This time, when we visit the amazing Stifel & Capra, we will be teaching Flower Power 101 – An Introduction to Flower Arranging (click the link to register!). This class will let you dip your toe in the water, and go home with an Olympic medal in the art of floral arranging. Here are the details:

  • Class cost: $50
  • Materials Cost: $25 (non-refundable)
  • Date and time: October, 8, 2015 – 6:00 PM
  • What you’ll leave with: Your arrangement full of fresh flowers in a glass container that you created and a few other surprises.

We have delighted in sharing new arrangements, learning new information about plants and flowers, and posting pictures of everything our readers have done on their own. We’re confident that with a little push, a little reading and a little effort, YOU can do flowers, too.

Can’t wait to see you on October 8th!
